About Me

I'm a final-year podiatry student at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Ghent, with a strong focus on sports biomechanics. I'm also a competitive endurance athlete: five years of competitive cycling, several years of long-distance running, and plenty of strength training in between.

That combination shapes how I work. I look at how people move and how much load their body can handle, and I translate research into practical advice you can actually use. On my blog Achyva, I write monthly evidence-based articles on injuries, recovery and performance.

From spring 2027, I'll start my own podiatry practice focused on athletes and active people.
